Hello class of 80. I own acme taxi (613) 777-XXXX ) and this is our 32nd year. You may have used my cabs at one time or another. We have been very successful for a lot of years. The air force taught me discipline and our business showed it. Now there is uber. Uber has literally put cab companies out of business across the world and has destroyed the industry in columbus. We have 42 vehicles but are now down to 26 drivers. We have contracts with the va, franklin county, deleware, federal care source, and city of columbus among a few others. We have services these well for over 19 years. As of now we are terrible. These contracts are the only reason we have not gone under. We are still the 2nd largest transportation company in columbus behind yellow. So what does this all mean?
I need drivers! It's not taxicab but rather medical transportation. We cover dialysis, doctor appointments, surgery spots. Etc. etc. . It is a safe and very rewarding job. It pays reasonable. If any of you need a job and have less than 6 points on your drivers license I could use the help. I know you are a group that has had higher education and a good paying job but if you know anyone that needs work please send them our way. Veterans especially. As a vet I really work with them on a special level. So if you know of anyone please call (614) 777-XXXX and ask how you can get started. I appreciate this opportunity to reach out and wish all of you the very best.
